When you drag and drop or select images to compress, the application reads the file data directly into local memory buffers using the HTML5 File API and WebAssembly SIMD decoders.
Zero bytes of image data leave your machine. At no point during compression, preview generation, or export are file contents streamed to Wonixo infrastructure or any cloud processing service.
2. Temporary Buffers and Memory Disposal
Raw and compressed image buffers exist only in temporary volatile memory (RAM) while you actively inspect the results. Once you download the optimized files, navigate away, or close the application window, all in-memory buffers are instantly purged by the operating system garbage collector.
3. EXIF and Geolocation Metadata Stripping
Digital photos frequently contain embedded EXIF metadata, including precise GPS coordinates, camera model numbers, and capture timestamps. Wonixo Image Compressor provides an optional privacy setting to strip all non-essential metadata from the output file, preventing accidental disclosure of personal locations when sharing compressed photos online.

The application operates cleanly without embedded advertising SDKs, session recording tools, or third-party behavioral analytics.
